New Beginnings Academy Gallery NBA finds its roots deep in the ministry of Dr. Michael Peper.  Dr. Peper was a thirteen year missionary to the country of Korea.  There he started nineteen churches and led thousands to Christ.  After feeling God’s call to return to the United States, Dr. Peper served as a professor at Boston Baptist College, before accepting the pastorate of First Baptist Church of Aston, PA.  In 1983 he and his wife founded American Christian School (which would later be called American Christian Academy and Prep School). Their ministry began with Kindergarten through second grade and one grade was added each year.  In 1995 American Christian graduated their first class.  The school continued to grow and boasted a ninety percent rate of students graduating and going directly into college. What would be the last graduating class of American Christian Academy and Prep School came June 4, 2008.  The senior class had seventeen  graduates all of whom were accepted into college/universities across the United States.  The graduates received over $700,000 in academic/athletic scholarships averaging over $42,000 per student.  Ninety-four percent of the graduates attended college/university the fall of 2008. Additionally,  ACAP’s Prep basketball team was recognized nationally and their varsity team was ranked in the top ten of Christian schools in the United States.  The students also enjoyed volleyball, boy’s and girl’s soccer, and baseball.  American Christian was a thriving school, full of hope and promise for years to come or so it seemed.

But God had other plans…New Beginnings Academy
In 2008 Dr. Peper and his wife resigned after twenty-seven years at First Baptist Church to become missionaries to the field of Sierra Leone, Africa.  Due to a direction change in the ministry, American Christian changed its name and closed its junior and senior high.  New Beginnings Academy was born shortly afterward, by the leadership of Jim Peper, Pastor of New Beginnings Church in Toughkenamon, PA. He is also the son of Dr. Mike and Diane Peper. With the former Administration and majority of the American Christian Faculty at his side, Pastor Jim Peper led in the opening of New Beginnings Academy, a ministry of New Beginnings Church. 
New Beginnings Academy is eternally grateful for the ministry of Mike and Diane Peper and First Baptist Church.
